August is not a good time to be there. The weather is unbearably hot during that time of the year.

In my opinion, you can visit Wuhan in May. Two years ago, I visited there in May. That was fantastic. When I stood on the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, I felt comfortable because of the breeze.

Yes, it is hot and humid in Wuhan August. The best time for visiting Wuhan is from March to June and from September to November.
