 Flagelliform nostoc is a kind of autotrophic algae. It’s also called hair weed. It means “Gejilewusi” in Mongolian, which means “the hair of the earth”. It’s a kind of edible wild algae full of nutrition. The protein content of Flagelliform nostoc is 20%～40%, which is higher than that of tremella, edible tree fungi, Xianggu mushroom and winter bamboo.
