Xichang Ancient City is located in the middle part of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province. With the area of over 2,600 square kilometers, Xichang is a provincial historic cultural city boasting a history of over 2,000 years. Due to its favorable weather condition including elevation, temperature, sunlight, longitude and latitude, the moon there seems quite bright, round and big. So, Xichang is also reputed as Moon City. How long is the train ride to Xichang from Kunming and from Xichang to Chengdu?
Hi, first of all, it takes bout 10 hours from Kunming to Xichang, such as K674 from 07:02 to 16:29. Of course, there are several other trains from Kunming to Xichang, and if you’d like to know more information about the trains and price, you can visit this page:
