It is a game prevalent in the villages in Kashgar. At their leisure, people often gather to watch the fights between two sheep.

The owners of the sheep will take them to the site to make them ready for the fight. As soon as the referee motions to start, the sheep will run to each other quickly. With the sound of "Jaydong", they come into collision. After each hit, the fighting sheep will move backward, and then gather their energy again to rush forward. At last, the sheep which is stronger and more endurant will probably win. To reward and encourage it, the owner will immediately give it some food and the audience will come forward to touch its head. As for the loser, it will ashamedly hide behind its owner without making a sound. Naturally, it will neither be rewarded nor punished.

Sometimes, it ends in a tie after two sheep fight twenty or thirty rounds. In order to conserve the sheep's strength, the owners can shake hands to bury the fight within the permission of the referee.
