Turpan, the world-famous city in western China, is a wondrous and fertile, ancient but young treasure land.

Turpan, also known as Gaochang in ancient times, was once a vital caravan city on the old Silk Road. Located in the Trupan Basin, known as Fire Island for its highest annual temperature of 50℃, Turpan is the hottest, lowest and driest place in China. So in spite of hot weather, you can enjoy a very special treatment: sand treatment, which is very good for your health!

Because of unique features of the climate, Turpan produces the sweetest grapes and Hami-melon in the world. It is truly an exotic and culturally fascinating destination for tourist from far and near!
