Railroad
The Shitai route electrizational railroad which is go across Yangquan City intersects with Jingguang route, Tongpu route and Yangshe route in the east, west and south. Yangquan railway station has opened the trains to get to Tayuan, west Beijing , Tianjin , Qingdao , Shijiazhuang, Shanghai , Hangzhou and Tangshan, etc. Except the nonstop No.7118 train that starts from Yangquan to Shijiazhuang, the other trains are all just passing by, so you have to pay much attention to the time for the train.
You can take No.1, 4, 16, 21, 22, 25 and 402 bus to get to the Yangquan railway station.

Highway
The highways of Yangquan City develop so well that the Jingshen Highway and Jingjintang Highway are connected with the main Taijiu Highway. It will take you only one hour to get to Shijiazhuang and Taiyuan Airport by Taijiu Highway. However, it will take you three hours to get to Beijing by Taijiu and Jingshi highway. And the No.207, 307 national highway also go through Yangquan that makes the highway transportation extended in all directions. Yangquan bus station has buses to Pingyao, Zhengzhou , Dingzhou and Yuci everyday.

There are more than 20 bus routes in Yangquan City, such as: No.101,102 and 1 bus. And the ticket is one yuan.
The starting price of the taxi in Yangquan is 4 yuan. If it is more than 2 kilometers, the price is 1 yuan/kilometer. The evening working time of taxi is from 10 to 5 o’clock the next morning. Besides, the starting price of motorbike here is 4 yuan, but you can higgle with the driver.
