Yili Weather

Yili autonomous prefecture belongs to temperate continental climate zone. The features of this weather are mild and humid, great difference in temperature existing between day and night, hot during summer but not lasting long, cold during winter but not lasting long, it becoming warm in spring quickly but not stable, the temperature in autumn also decreasing quickly, the waterfall there plentiful but there significant difference existing between different area, thundering and raining day frequenting more in mountainous area, accumulated snow there thick, fewer strong windy days, frost season lasting long, an apparent re-warm zone existing in lower mountains in winter.
