Located in the center of the Hui village in Yongning County, Najiahu Mosque is a traditional mosque in Han nationality style, and one of the largest and oldest mosques in Ningxia. The temple, with an area of 30 acres, sits in the west and faces the east in a rectangular form, consisting of the Temple Gate, the great hall of Worship, wing-rooms, and bathrooms. The temple is quiet and solemn. And the large spacious main hall can hold 1,000 people at the same time. With a long history and a large scale, it is a good place for worship.
As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with the mosque in it, the village has already been a well-known Hui village in the country. In front of the main hall, there are two big locust trees. During the worship time, the imam beats the wooden clapper boards in the gatehouse and calls on the Muslims to gather together for worshipping. This scene is very solemn and makes tourists fully feel the power and mystery of religion.
