The Sea Of Bamboo Scenic Area is located in Hufu Town, which is 31 kilometers away from the southwest of Yixing City that is at the junction of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces. Yixing abounds with bamboos and has been called “The Sea of Bamboos” since ancient times. There is a sea of bamboos there, forming a sea of bamboos. The Sea Of Bamboo Scenic Area is situated in the center of the bamboos. The Sea Of Bamboo Scenic Area, stretching over Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui Provinces, is the National Scenic Area, the Provincial Forest Park and the Top 10 scenic spots in Yixing.

The Sea Of Bamboo Scenic Area, covering a total area of 10,000 mu, has the reputation of “The First Bamboo Sea in East China”, “No. 1 Source of Taihu Lake” and “The First Peak in Southern Jiangsu”. It consists of several scenic areas, including the Jinghu Area, the Jade Promenade Area, the Waterfall Area, Bamboo groves Area, an ancient temple Area and a tea Area. The scenery in these scenic areas differs in seasons. Tourists can go to visit there every season, enjoying the different scenery of a variety of characteristics. When a gentle breeze blows past, tourists will see green waves dance with the wind and hear the sound of the wind going through the bamboo leaves. Besides, many swordsmen films have been shot there, in a sea of bamboos. The Sea Of Bamboo Scenic Area is an ideal tourist attraction for people to relax themselves, go sightseeing and breathe the fresh air.

How to Get There?

Travelers can take No. 1 Tourist Bus to get there with the ticket of 7 Yuan. Besides, sightseeing buses are also available with the ticket price of 5 RMB.
