Yulin Rug and Carpet, Yulin

Shaanxi Province is the most famous producing area in China, and Yulin is the most famous in Shaanxi. Yulin Carpet is one of the ten most famous carpets in China. The major rug and carpet producing places are counties like Yulin, Fugu, Shenmu and Xian City. For the carpet producing in Yulin enjoys a longest history and massive scale and the quality is superb, the carpets produced in the neighboring areas are also called Yulin Carpet. The carpets are all made by hand, the craftwork being fine and meticulous. The rug and carpetfabric is very close and tight. Among various types, Three Blue Carpet, Buddhist Line Carpet and Shenmu Carpet are the most unique ones. They have long been precious craftwork in broad areas in history including Shanxi Province, Gansu Province, Ningxia Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
