River lanterns are popular in Taiyang Ferry of Pinglu County. This custom started in Tang Dynasty. On the night of Lantern Festival, many river lanterns will be lighted. On that night, people light up the candles in the lanterns and flow them in the water. This beautiful scene always impresses people deeply.
