Three-course Tea is very different from other Chinese tea. It is a drink offered to guests in festivals and weddings. So, three-course tea is also considered as a kind of welcome ceremony. The uniqueness of three-course tea is at every course having its own trait. The first course smells a little bitter; the second course is a bit sweet (adding candy and walnut pieces in it); and the third course is memorable (with condiments in it). Three-course tea represents a philosophy of life—bitterness comes first and sweetness later. Maybe you have drunk black tea, green tea, jasmine tea or other Chinese tea, but 'three-course tea' may give you a special experience. Meanwhile, when you taste the tea, you can also enjoy the singing and dancing performance of Bai people.
