Spring City theatre was built in 1980, located in the center of Kunming city. It consists of theatrical performance, conference, cinema, high-tech digital cinema, emporium, etc. Opera, music drama, ballet, symphony, chamber music, drama, etc. have been held in the Spring City theatre successfully. The theatre could admit at least 1000 persons at a time. In recent years, the theatre has become an important channel for culture communication between foreign countries and Chinese.
