Steamed Egg with Hair Weeds, Yushu
The local people call it Huangjin Baiyin Wusi cake (with steamed layers of golden yolk, egg white and brown hair weeds). Use egg white with salt, ginger, the Chinese prickly ash and other seasonings as the underlay of this dish, add the hair weeds on it and steamed for several minutes, then pour the stirred yolk on its surface and steam until it is well-done. Take it out and cut it into squares or lozenges, put them in the plate and dress them with starchy chicken soup or mutton soup containing edible funguses, daylilies, sliced bamboo shoots, and minced corianders, finally drop some sesame oil. This dish has several types with light taste and faint fragrance and is also a healthy regale.
