Lower Tianzhusi Temple, also called Fajing Temple today, is located at the foot of the Mountain Flown From Afar. Lower Tianzhisi Temple together with the Middle Tianzhusi Temple and the Upper Tianzhusi Temple compose the Tianzhusi Temple, the famous ancient building complex of Hangzhou . Among them, the Lower Tianzhusi Temple has the longest history, built in 326 AD, Eastern Jin Dynasty (317 AD to 420 AD). It was ever ruined during the long history. The renovation in 1982 by Hangzhou Buddhist Association made its layout complete again.
