The Official Kiln Museum of the Southern Song Dynasty is situated in the weat side of the West Lake. It is an archaized museum in the form of architectures of Song Dynasty, consisting two sections: exhibition hall and ancient sites.
The exhibition hall is composed of three parts. The first one exhibites exquisite chinaware of past dynasties. And the second one reveals the history of China' porcelain and the social, political, economic development since the establishment of the Official Kiln. And the third one displays some modelled products with modern technique.
The ancient sites here can claim to be the supreme conservation architecture of ancient sites in our country.

As it's located in the west of the West Lake, you can visit it simultaneously while sightseeing by West Lake.
