Located at the bank of Wujiang River in the middle Zhejiang province, the ancient city, Jinhua, is one of the most important transportation hubs. The Zhejiang-Jiangxi railway traverses Jinhua from east to west, and the land transportation system extends in all directions as well in Jinhua.
Jinhua city has over 2,000-year history till now. In ancient China, Jinhua mainly belonged to the territory of the Yue Kingdom in the period of Spring and Autumn. It was denominated with the name of Huiji in the Qing Dynasty. On the first year of Baoding, Emperor Sunhao’s reign of Wu Kingdom during the period of three-kingdoms (AD 266), Jinhua was set up as a province.
