The Official Residence of King Shiwang of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom

Brief introduction to the scenic spot:

The Official Residence of King Shiwang is the treasure house of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. Till the late of 1983, it has found 11 stone carvings and brick carvings respectively, 526 wooden carvings, 119 mural paintings, 407 color paintings and other various paintings. All those artworks match perfectly with the style of the King Shiwang’s Palace, and are of great art values. They are also the precious information on studying the revolution history during the period of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. The totality of mural paintings and color paintings tops No. one in the whole country, and surpasses the total sum of those in other relics of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in China.
