In autumn, besides the comfortable weather condition, there are a number of festival activities held during this period, such as Zhengzhou International Shaolin Martial Art Festival, China Rose Flower Fair and large-scale commodity fairs. During Zhengzhou International Shaolin Martial Art Festival, tourists can watch performances of traditional Chinese kung fu. Autumn is also ranked as the best season for climbing Mt. Song, thanks to the cool weather condition and the best natural scenery. It should be noticed that there will be a large number of people traveling during May Day festival (May 1st to 3rd) and Chinese National Day festival (October 1st to 7th), bringing inconvenience to transportation and accommodation.
