Variety of Tibetan silverwares are available in Shangri-la, they are more than 20 kinds only for religious use such as Buddhist tower, Buddhist statue, niche for an image a Buddha and Buddhist wares etc. not mention silverwares for common life, they are out of count.

Silver picture of eight treasures:It is a silverware only for religious activity, altogether 8 piece, each being the mascot of the Tibetan Buddhism such as white spiral shell, lotus etc, which is of fine workmanship. The whole silverware has the artic characteristics of relief, having a munificent primitive beauty combine with a sense of solemn.

Silver amulet Buddhist box Named Kewu in Tibetan. At the beginning, it was a amulet for Tibetan men to avoid disaster and pray for blessings when they took a long journey. Now, it is as a common ornament with two kinds, one likes the shape of a niche for an image of a Buddha, the other being round. Inside, amulet itself is hollow with Buddhist statue, scripture and mantras of Buddhism, Sheli, lucky knot etc, while outside, amulet is adorned with huge legendary green sea-title in relief, eight treasures, five flower precious bottle etc. to express happiness, success, wisdom and courage. Amulet box has big and small one, big ones are often carried in one’s belt and small ones hanging around the neck.

Earrings、Bracelet、Silver Waistband:Earrings has more than ten kinds such as crescent-type earrings mounted with turquoise, dropping-type mounted with coral pearls. As for bracelet, circle of pillow silk and the head of dragon are exquisite and slim; square bracelet is munificent, plain and pretty. Silver waistband is made of five or six silver pieces with variety kinds of picture patterns.

Silver-packed wooden bowlSilver-packed wooden bowl is beloved tableware for Tibetans. There are three kinds of silver-packed wooden bowls: whole-packed, half-packed and side-packed, the patterns on the bowls are mainly to use crafts in relief, two dragons playing with a pearl carving and Tibetan picture of eight treasures. 

Silver Bell Sewing Box:Called Zhenbukeshui in Tibetan, is the favorite luxurious ornament for Tibetan women. It is made of ten silver bells. Tibetan women wear them on the right front of a garment. Bells jingled merrily when women walked. It is harmonious with the slander figure of Tibetan women.

Silver and Jade Bowl Base:It is tableware used by the Living Buddhas, masters, wisdom men and honored guests. The pattern of the bowl base is Banma(lotus) in relief, the most respected one of Tibetan, the six sacrificial fruits chayote, orange, pear, peach, pomegranate and Chinese pear-leaved crab apple are carved on the base, and the bowl edge is carved with stamen of lotus and ornamental sceptre; the pattern of bowl lid is made of Tibetan eight treasures and Jianazhala( the Great Wall in Han region), the top of lid is to use ruby symbolizing the bud of lotus. These silverwares are popular with tourists and are of great appreciate value. They are worth of collecting.
