Rock Climbing, Zhuhai

Zhuhai provides an excellent environment for rock climbing. The annual average temperature is 22.5 degrees with the lowest temperature 3 degrees and the highest temperature 33.5. Therefore, it is suitable for rock climbing in all seasons. It has the highest enfolding rock, which is as high as 20 meters. It also has bare rock walls, whose height ranges from 15 to 100 meters and whose width ranges from 200 to 1000 meters. There are climbing routes of all levels of difficulty and convenient traffic. According to the geography of urban areas, it can be zoned from east to west into the enfolding rock zone of the Shijing Mountain, the rock climbing zone of the Banzhang Mountain forest park and the rock climbing zone of the Banzhang Mountain customs sports field. The rock climbing zone of the Banzhang Mountain forest park, which has the most mature routes, is opened by the outdoor sports and expedition association of Zhuhai City. It is located in the middle of the entrance of the Banzhang Moutain tunnel on the Yingbin main street, an arterial road in urban areas. To the south of the rock wall about 2000 meters is the Gongbei Customs leading to Macao. Tourists can gorge on the seashore views and Macao sceneries here. The rock wall in this area is made of granites. There are more than ten routes of rock climbing, which avoid weathering rocks, dangerous rocks. Macadam is all cleared on these routes. There are also supports implanted into the rock wall about 2 meters deep with steel tubes and cements on every route.
