Traditionally, when slaves in West Zhou Dynasty (around1100BC-771BC) were making copper, they found a kind of sparkling object that became brittle and hard after cooling, as it appeared bizarre and fantastic, people called it “colored glaze”. The glaze colored ball was made at the end of Qing dynasty (1616AD-1911AD).
