Zigong gong fan, Zigong

Gong fan, bamboo filament fan traced back one hundred year ago, which is produced in Arts and Crafts Factory attached to Zigong Arts and Crafts Corporation , is named after a man whose surname is Gong. By the end of the Qing Dynasty it won reputation and it was conferred the title “palace fan” by the emperor Guangxu. It is said that in 1886, Gong fan was awarded golden medal in the competition of treasures held in Suchuan province and became famous therefore. Gong fan is complex to weave. Careful selecting of materials, skillful making, good quality in arts make it  the art treasure all over the world.
