Former Residence of Chenyi

Brief-introduction:

The Former Residence of Chenyi is located at Zhenggou Bay, Laodong Village, Lezhi County, 29.5 KM far from Lezhi County. It is a tile-roofed wooden house, compounding with houses around a square courtyard, there are 3 principal rooms in the house, covers an area of 750 square metres, covers an area of 6050 square metres including the courtyard. General Chenyi was born here on 26^th, August, 1901. In August, 1980, in order to commemorate Chenyi, the government of Lezhi renewed the house, in October of the same year, the house started to be opened to tourists, and was listed as Major Historical and Cultural Sites under province protection by the government of Sichuan Province.
