After breakfast at 7:30am, your tour guide will pick you up from hotel and escort you to the pier of Zhongshan Park. Then take a boat to start visiting the West Lake, which is is reputed for it’s beautiful scenery, embraced by hills like a pearl.
The Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon offers the best place to enjoy a beautiful full moon at the mid lake. In Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival, candles are lit inside the holes of three pagodas. So the candle light, moonlight and lake light mix together and shinning on the three-pool area in the lake. It’s also a perfect place for a leisure stroll as it resembles a traditional Chinese water and mountain painting---bridge, ponds, pavilions, trees. Another island is Mid-Lake Pavilion, which is the oldest island in Hangzhou and creates an elegant scenery with unique atmosphere. This tranquil spot is said to have inspired the famous poem Chong Er (Endless Love).
Disembark on Su Causeway, which is named after the great litterateur -- Su Dongpo. It’s a great place for walking and the Dawn on the Su Causeway in Spring is one of the top 10 classical attractions in Hangzhou. After a short walk, you will arrive at the Flower Harbor Park. Here, the large variety of flowers and golden fish are the leading roles. The Peony Park is the perfect place to enjoy flowers with more than 200 species while the Red Fish Pond is the best place to watch and feed the golden fish. The colorful flowers and golden fish make up a harmonious picture for you.
