Panda Breeding and Research Center, Local Tea House in People's Park
This morning, our local Chengdu tour guide will take your family to the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center, where you will see these cute pandas being taken care of. The researchers will introduce you the daily life of a panda.
In the afternoon, we will visit People's Park. Retired people will go to the teahouse and sit there all day long to chat with each other only pay little. Marrige market where the young go to find a husband or wife. They write letters of what they want and in many cases the parents look around and try and choose a parent who looks as tho their offspring may be suitable. Enjoy your time to experience local culture.

Mahjong Experience (3 hours): Mahjong is a tile-based game that originated in China 300 years ago. Commonly played by 3-4 players, Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy, and calculation. It plays an important part in the daily lives of many Chengdu people.
Your local guide will be happy to show you how to play it, hand by hand, in a local tea house. It’s a good way of experiencing local life.
Shufengyayun Tea House for Sichuan Opera: It is an ideal place to experience local arts. The performance consists of various traditional Sichuan exhibitions: face changing, spitting fire, hand shadows, puppet show and acrobatics. Have a cup of tea and enjoy a musical, colorful and magical night. There are some special activities for you to learn more about the lcoal culture, such as shoulder massage, opera make-up and opera costume dressing.
Leshan Giant Buddha, Cruise to have a overlook at Leshan Giant Buddha
Leshan, noted for the Giant Buddha is 2 hours away from Chengdu by car. This morning we will drive up there and take a boat trip along Min River to view the Buddha. Have lunch in a nearby restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will be back to Chengdu.
