DAY
1

Chengdu Arrival

Airport Transfer (Chengdu), Free time

Upon arrival at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel.

Chengdu's night is never boring! What we recommend is a cup of tea in a traditional teahouse, or a face-changing show of a Sichuan Opera (Shu Feng Ya Yun Sichuan Opera wins No.6 attraction in TripAdvisor forums). Our guide can help you book the show. All the cost (entrance fee, transfer and meal) are on your own.

2

Chengdu

Wenshu Monastery, Jinsha Museum, Local Tea House in People's Park, Jinli Old Street (includes snack tasting experience)

After have a breakfast, we will to to Jinsha Museum to travel back to old Chengdu. This museum has a history of three thousand years. Important relics, including large-sized structure foundations, sacrifice-offering areas, regular residential sites, and graveyards have been revealed.

Continue our tour to visit Wenshu Monastery which a is large Zen Buddhist temple is a lively and attractive complex.

After have a lunch at local restaurant, we will visit People's Park. There are lots of groups of locals in the park doing various activities such as singing, theatre, dancing etc. Have a tea in tea house, visit the Marriage market and try to ear cleaning to experience the local culture.

JinLi Street which flourished in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) and Three Kingdoms Periods (220–280). On the Snack Street, you can have the real taste of local snacks, which are well-known and unique in China. Try some famous food like bean jelly in chili source, sweet potato noodle and wonton in Sichuan style.

Chengdu

One-Day Panda Keeper Volunteer Program at Dujiangyan Panda Valley

We will takes about 90 minutes to Dujiangyan Panda Valley. Panda Keeper Volunteer Program will start at 08:30 and finishes at 17:00, with a 2-hour noon break. In the morning, you will help clean the closure, carrying and weighing bamboo, prepare panda cakes and feed the panda. There is a panda movie available at noon. In the afternoon, you will continue with volunteer work, and a panda lecture is provided if the number of volunteers reach over 10 on that day. At the end of the program, you will receive a volunteer certificate.

Good to Know:
Activies mentioned above may change in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Pandas have their own behavior and life style. Some of your keeper work may change as not to disturb their peaceful life. At present, no health check is needed.
Although there is no restriction to the age of volunteers, we are advice children under six years old do not join it.
