Chengdu Arrival

Airport Transfer (Chengdu)

Upon arrival at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel.



Jinli Old Street, Wu Hou Temple, Wenshu Monastery, Jinsha Museum

After have a breakfast, we will to to Jinsha Museum to travel back to old Chengdu. This museum has a history of three thousand years. Important relics, including large-sized structure foundations, sacrifice-offering areas, regular residential sites, and graveyards have been revealed.

Continue our tour to visit Wenshu Monastery which a is large Zen Buddhist temple is a lively and attractive complex.

After have a lunch at local restaurant, we will visit Wu Hou Temple. This exquisite temple is named after the Marquis of Wu, Zhuge Liang (181-234). He was the exceptional military strategist immortalized in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms." The many halls, rooms, statues, small museum, and famous Tang Dynasty (618-907) stele are all in impressively well-preserved condition, and the verdant gardens all around contribute to the overall atmosphere.

JinLi Street which flourished in the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220 AD) and Three Kingdoms Periods (220–280) and is today still a popular place for locals to meet and shop at the countless teahouses, restaurants, bars, theaters, artisanal shops, and snack stands. JinLi Street has been fully restored in traditional Sichuan style with respect to its rich heritage.



One-Day Panda Keeper Volunteer Program at Dujiangyan Panda Valley

We will takes about 90 minutes to Dujiangyan Panda Valley. Panda Keeper Volunteer Program will start at 08:30 and finishes at 17:00, with a 2-hour noon break. In the morning, you will help clean the closure, carrying and weighing bamboo, prepare panda cakes and feed the panda. There is a panda movie available at noon. In the afternoon, you will continue with volunteer work, and a panda lecture is provided if the number of volunteers reach over 10 on that day. At the end of the program, you will receive a volunteer certificate.

Good to Know:
Activies mentioned above may change in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Pandas have their own behavior and life style. Some of your keeper work may change as not to disturb their peaceful life. At present, no health check is needed.
Although there is no restriction to the age of volunteers, we are advice children under six years old do not join it.
