Start your China holiday in China's big metropolis Shanghai. Your Shanghai tour guide will pick you up at the airport and take you to hotel. Free time after check-in.

    Shanghai

    Yuyuan Garden, The Bund, French concession region, Shikumen, Shanghai Museum((Audio Guide included)), Jiangnan Silk Shop and Workshop

    The Bund

    In the morning, you will take a walk along The Bund. Later, you will learn about the city at Shanghai Museum. Waiting for you is the classic garden: Yuyuan Garden. Have lunch in a gracefully-decortaed restaurant.

    After lunch, you will take an easy walk at the Former French Concession and visit the nearby Shikumen

    . A silk store will be the last stop for today.

    Chengdu

    Half Day Panda Breed Reserve Tour, Wu Hou Temple, , Chengdu Kuan-zhai Lane

    Chengdu is home to the giant pandas. Today your Chengdu tour guide will take the group to the Panda Breeding and Research Center. Look at these cute babies playing, rolling, climbing and eating, don't you just love them?!

    Get back to Chengdu and have lunch. Get into the Wide and Narrow Lanes, aka Kuanzhai Xiangzi, learning about Chengdu local's daily life. Later, visit a traditional temple: Wuhou Temple. Last, you will visit the Shu Brocade Institute and Factory to learn about the delicate Shu embroidery art.

    Have some free time in Chengdu.

    Today you will take a flight to Xi'an. Check in upon arrival.

    Xian

    The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Ancient City Wall, Xi'an Imperial Fine Arts center

    The Terracotta Warriors and Horses

    Arrive in Xi'an in the morning, your tour guide will take you to some simple breakfast and help you check in. Later, you will visit the wonder of ancient China: Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Have lunch in a Sichuan restaurant nearby before a walk at a handicraft center.

    In the afternoon, you will be back to Xi'an downtown, waiting is the Ancient City Wall, one of the oldest milatry defense systems in China.

    Destinations & activities: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Quarter and transfer to the train station, land transfer to Dengfeng

    Today you will visit the famous Buhddism attraction: Big Wild Goose Pagoda and later, go for a walk at the Muslim Quarter. Have lunch and your Xi'an tour guide will take you to the train station.

    A high speed train will take you to Luoyang, from where we will drive about 1 and 1/2 hours to Dengfeng. Check in upon arrival.

    Dengfeng

    Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest (including Shaolin Kungfu Show), Sanhuang Stronghold

    After breakfast, you will visit Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest. An excellent Kungfu show will be a warm-up for tomorrow's Kungfu class.

    After lunch, you will get outside Dengfeng and get to Sanhuangzhai, a national forest park where you will take a cable car to get an awesome view.

    Luoyang

    One day Shaolin Kung fu Experience, Our guide and driver will escort you from Dengfeng to Luoyang

    Today you will follow a master and learn Kungfu. Enjoy the moves!

    Later today, your tour guide will escort you back to Luoyang. Check in upon arrival.

    Today you visit the world-famous Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang.

    In the afternoon, take a flight to Beijing. Check in upon arrival.

    Beijing

    Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Hutong Tour by Rickshaw in Xicheng District, Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling, Pearl Store

    Tiananmen Square

    Tian'anmen Square is an extensive open area in Beijing, adjacent to the Forbidden City. Inside the Forbidden City, you will visit the four cores: the Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Mental Cultivation, Hall of Supreme Harmony and Royal Garden. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

    The most interesting fact about the Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling is that China's last emperor Pu Yi once lived in a courtyard house in a Hutong but not the majestic Forbidden City. Afterwards, you will take a rickshaw Hutong ride and visit a local family.

    - Smart Tips:

  • Today's tour ends up at the Hutong area near Houhai, where you can find a decent place to kick back and enjoy a brisk Beijing night.
  • It takes some nerve to dance in public. But moves don't matter if you got the passion - at least it's so for Chinese dance devotees. Go check out China's national hobby: Square Dance in Beijing!
  • To eat like Chairman Mao, try out Mao's Family Restaurant, whose head chef used to be Mao's private cook.

    Beijing

    Mutianyu Cable Car(round trip), Temple of Heaven, Shahe Cloisonne Factory

    As your Beijing tour guide walks your way to the site, you can see many local folks take the holy site Temple of Heaven as an open-air playground for Taichi, Yangko and sword dancing.

    Next stop for today is the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section. A one-way cable car ride and one-way slide-way is included in our trip. Later, stop by to see how the cloisonne ware comes out at a cloisonne factory before heading back.

    Later at night, your Beijing tour guide will escort you to the train station and an onward train will take you to Xi'an.

  • Sliding down the Great Wall would count as an excitment, however, you can request to change to one-way cable car ride if you prefer.
