1

Guangzhou Arrival

Airport/Train Station/Port to Hotel Transfer

Today you will arrive in Guangzhou and our Guangzhou tour guide will pick you up at the airport or train station and take you to hotel for check-in.

    Today you will fly to Guilin in the morning. Check in upon arrival and go to lunch.

    Yangshuo

    Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo, Yangshuo Countryside Cycling

    Today you will take a cruise down Li River to Yangshuo.

    Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon. Later, your Guilin tour guide will lead your way around the lovely countryside in Yangshuo by bike. Enjoy the ride!

    Later today, you will be back to Guilin by car. Relax yourself on the drive back.

  • The food on boat is on average, we suggest you bring some snacks.
  • Before we head back to Guilin, you can go shopping in the famous West Street.
  • Beer Fish is something you must try when you are in Yangshuo! There are a bunch of restaurants along the street in the main town of Yangshuo and Meijie Beer Fish Restaurant is our recommendation.

    Our guide and driver will escort you from Yangshuo to Guilin, Tai Chi Experience in Yangshuo, Airport Transfer (Guilin), Airport Transfer (Zhengzhou), Our guide and driver will escort you from Zhengzhou to Dengfeng

    Wake up early, today you will have a Taichi class with an experienced master. Later, we will head straight to the airport for the onward flight to Zhengzhou.

    Upon arrival in Zhengzhou, we will escort you to Dengfeng. Check in upon arrival.

  • The drive from Zhengzhou to Dengfeng takes about 1 hour and a half.
  • One of Dengfeng's icons besides Shaolin Temple is its vegetarian food culture. Give it a try at Linden Tree Vegetarian Restaurant.

    Dengfeng

    Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest (including Shaolin Kungfu Show), Sanhuang Stronghold

    Shaolin Kongfu

    After breakfast, you will visit Shaolin Temple and Pagoda Forest. An excellent Kungfu show will be a warm-up for tomorrow's Kungfu class.

    After lunch, you will get outside Dengfeng and get to Sanhuangzhai, a national forest park where you will take a cable car to get an awesome view.

    Luoyang

    One day Shaolin Kung fu Experience, Our guide and driver will escort you from Dengfeng to Luoyang

    Learning Kungfu

    Today you will follow a master and learn Kungfu. Enjoy the moves!

    Later today, your tour guide will escort you back to Luoyang. Check in upon arrival.

    Luoyang is rich in culture, espcially Buddhism culture. Today you will visit Longmen Grottoes and White House Temple.

    In the afternoon, heading to Xi'an by a high speed train. Check in upon arrival.

    The Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Ancient City Wall, Xi'an Imperial Fine Arts center

    Arrive in Xi'an in the morning, your tour guide will take you to some simple breakfast and help you check in. Later, you will visit the wonder of ancient China: Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Have lunch in a Sichuan restaurant nearby before a walk at a handicraft center.

    In the afternoon, you will be back to Xi'an downtown, waiting is the Ancient City Wall, one of the oldest milatry defense systems in China.

    Muslim Quarters, Shaanxi History Museum, Great Mosque, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Hotel to Train station Transfer (Xian)

    Wanna know more about Xi'an? Today you will visit Shaanxi History Museum. Later, pay a visit at Big Wild Goose Pagoda and go to lunch.

    In the afternoon, walk freely on the Muslim Quarter. Stop at Great Mosque at their pray time.

    Later tonight, you will take an overnight train to Beijing.

    Beijing

    Train station Transfer (Beijing), The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Hutong Tour by Rickshaw in Xicheng District, Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling, Tongrentang Wangfujing

    Arrive in Beijing at about 8am. Check in and have simple breakfast before today's tour.

    Tian'anmen Square is an extensive open area in Beijing, adjacent to the Forbidden City. Inside the Forbidden City, you will visit the four cores: the Palace of Heavenly Purity, Hall of Mental Cultivation, Hall of Supreme Harmony and Royal Garden. Have lunch at a local restaurant.

    The most interesting fact about the Former Residence of Soong Ching Ling is that China's last emperor Pu Yi once lived in a courtyard house in a Hutong but not the majestic Forbidden City. Afterwards, you will take a rickshaw Hutong ride and visit a local family.

    - Smart Tips:

  • It takes some nerve to dance in public. But moves don't matter if you got the passion - at least it's so for Chinese dance devotees. Go check out China's national hobby: Square Dance in Beijing!
  • To eat like Chairman Mao, try out Mao's Family Restaurant, whose head chef used to be Mao's private cook.

    Beijing

    Temple of Heaven, The Mutianyu Great Wall(with round way cable car), Shahe Cloisonne Factory

    As your Beijing tour guide walks your way to the site, you can see many local folks take the holy site Temple of Heaven as an open-air playground for Taichi, Yangko and sword dancing.

    Next stop for today is the Great Wall at Mutianyu Section. A one-way cable car ride and one-way slide-way is included in our trip. Later, stop by to see how the cloisonne ware comes out at a cloisonne factory before heading back.

    - Smart Tips:

  • Sliding down the Great Wall would count as an excitment, however, you can request to change to one-way cable car ride if you prefer.
  • Don't leave Beijing without a bite of the famous Peking Duck. You can ask your tour guide for tips and one of our best bets is Hua's Restaurant. Find more on our "Solo Adventure!" tag.
