Suzhou Arrival

The Grand Canal, Panmen Gate, The No.1 Silk Factory, Wangshi Garden, Tiger Hill, Humble Administrators Garden

Pick up from your hotel/train station in Suzhou, half an hours drive to see the classical gardens – Lingering Garden, is one of the gardens listed in UNESCO world heritage. Rockery, ponds, plants and buildings are well maintained. plenty of interesting and mature plants and Bonsai displays, you could easily spend a few hours here walking around and not see the same thing twice.

Take a Rickshaw Ride in Suzhou through the old streets & Hutongs in Suzhou, hop off and walk around the old city district is a good chance to get close to real local life.

Take a walk in the Tiger Hill, a large park with an interesting leaning tower at the top, stone steps leading up to the top and it offers some good views over the northwestern part of Suzhou.

Downhill and transfer back to your Suzhou hotel.

Suzhou Departure

Rickshaw ride, Zhouzhuang Water Town, Our guide and driver will escort you from Suzhou to Shanghai, Shen House

Today we will take an hour on roadway to Zhouzhuang Water Town. Travel to the old town like back in time. This water town is not that big but filled with its charming small old houses. 60 percent of the architecture in the village were built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties from 1368 to 1911. The buildings along two sides of the entrance are replicas of old-style houses. Take a gondola boat ride through small waterways is a must.

Good for leisurely walk along the waterway to the famous historical sites of:

Twin Bridges (Shuang qiao): Zhouzhuang is surrounded and divided by lakes and rivers, 14 stone bridges cross the rivers, showing distinctive views of the water town.

Zhang House: Built by Xu's family in the Zhengtong era (1436 - 1449) of the Ming Dynasty and bought by Zhang's family in the early Qing Dynasty. See the old-style architecture and furniture well display in the house.

Having lunch in the water town, your guide will helps to order food so that you can taste authentic dishes.

After tour, transfer back to your hotel or to train station according to your schedule.
