Start your day with a refreshing morning stroll through Tian'anmen Square, a vast and iconic public space at the heart of Beijing. Known for its historical significance and monumental architecture, it's a place where past and present converge, offering a glimpse into China's rich history.

Then step into the majestic Forbidden City, the largest and best-preserved ancient imperial complex in the world. Immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Expect to walk about 2 kilometers over two hours.

After a delicious local lunch, join a Hutong Walking Tour in the Dongcheng District. These historic alleyways, with their traditional courtyard houses, are a glimpse into old Beijing. Wander through the narrow lanes, visit a local family to experience traditional life, and learn about efforts to preserve this unique culture. This tour covers about 800 meters.

Finally, discover the vibrant atmosphere of Nanluoguxiang, where you can explore lively streets filled with unique shops and local art.

Start your day with a visit to the majestic Temple of Heaven, a sacred site for the royal family. Next, we’ll drive out to the famous Great Wall at the Mutianyu Section. This section is a top favorite on TripAdvisor, known for its breathtaking views and beautifully restored architecture. It’s also the most family-friendly section, offering fun ways to explore.

To make your visit even easier, we’ve arranged a round-trip cable car ride, so you can skip the 40-minute climb and enjoy the stunning scenery right away. Once you reach the Wall, you’ll have some free time to wander and take in the sights after your guide shares some fascinating insights.

DAY 4 Summer Palace, Exterior visit of Beijing Olympic Stadiums (Bird's Nest and Water Cube), Beijing to Guangzhou

Start your day at the beautiful Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal park in China. This stunning place has shaped Chinese gardening and landscaping for centuries, earning its title as "The Museum of Royal Gardens." As you explore the park, you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking natural views and rich cultural history. Get ready for a lovely 2-hour walk (about 2 kilometers) through this enchanting landscape!

After the Summer Palace, head to the iconic Beijing Olympic Stadiums. These impressive venues hosted the 2008 Summer Olympics and the 2022 Winter Olympics. While you’ll only be able to admire the Bird’s Nest and the Water Cube from the outside, their unique designs are sure to leave you in awe!

Later today, you will be flying to Guangzhou. Our local Beijing tour guide will see you off at the airport. Transferring to Guangzhou will be your own arrangement.
