1. What's the best time to visit Xi'an?
The best to visit Xi’an is in summer and autumn. The period from March to May when the blossoms are in full bloom and the period from September to November when the weather is pleasant are the best periods for visiting Xi’an.
2. I am a business traveler, could I visit Xi’an only spend one or two days?
One day Xi’an highlights travel is suitable for business travelers. You are recommended to visit Terracotta Army, ride a bike around the Ancient City Wall, know of old china of visit Shaanxi History Museum and taste some local food along Muslim Quarters.
And even if you are not in Xi’an, you could take a flight from Beijing, Shanghai, or Guangzhou in the morning and back to the city afternoon.
If you have two days to travel, staying one night in Xi’an will be more leisure for you.
3. Travel from Xi’an to other major cities by train or by air?
Both train and plane are convenient for travel between Xi’an and other major cities, like Beijing, Guangzhou, Kunming, and Shanghai.
If the train journey lasts more than six hours, you are recommended to take a flight, except for the journey from Xi’an to Lhasa. The extraordinary natural scenery on the train journey between Xi’an and Lhasa is well worth seeing.
