- Breakfast, Lunch
Today marks the final day of your Zhangjiajie journey, during which you will explore Tianmen Mountain. Renowned as the "soul" of Zhangjiajie, it is the highest peak in the region. The summit offers breathtaking views, with ancient trees reaching skyward and awe-inspiring karst landscapes, complemented by dramatic roads carved into the cliffs.
After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide and proceed by car to the cable car station, embarking on a thrilling 30-minute ride considered the longest cable car journey in the world.
Upon reaching the summit, you have the choice of adventurous exploration: ascending the "Heaven's Gate Stairway" with its 999 steps, or taking an escalator to the top with ease.
Subsequently, you may challenge the Glass Skywalk, one of the world’s highest observation decks. This 1.6-meter-wide, 60-meter-long transparent walkway juts out from precipitous cliffs at 1,430 meters high, offering an exhilarating experience and unobstructed views of the majestic mountains below, rivaling the Grand Canyon Skywalk in Arizona.
The guide will arrange lunch at a local restaurant, suggesting delicacies tailored to your taste. After this unforgettable expedition, your guide and driver will transport you to the Zhangjiajie high-speed train station for your return to Guangzhou.
