Sanya Attractions
As the most popular holiday destination in China, Sanya attractions tourists with its coastal scenery, tropical rainforest and other natural scenery. The scenic spots in Sanya are not concentrated and the distance between them is relatively long. They are distributed along the long and narrow coastline in the east-west direction. Public transportation is not developed.
It's best to charter a car or take a taxi to and from the scenic spots. It is advisable to visit 1-2 scenic spots a day, which will neither waste too much time nor feel too rushed. Pay attention to sun protection when splashing on the beach, and be sure to wear insect spray when traveling through the rainforest.
Sanya can be divided into four major areas: Sanya Bay, Dadonghai and Haitang Bay. The four bays are connected to each other along the coastline and are the main activity area for tourists to visit Sanya. In terms of water quality, Yalong Bay has the best water quality. Sanya Bay is the closest to the urban area and is the most convenient for eating and shopping. Dadonghai is based on the difference between the two. Haitang Bay is popular with tourists because of Wuzhizhou Island and the duty-free shopping center.
