Is Altitude a Problem?
Mount Siguniang is located at a relatively high altitude, with most sightseeing areas ranging from 3,000 to 3,800 meters above sea level. Some travelers may experience mild altitude symptoms such as shortness of breath or slight headaches, especially on the first day.
However, most visitors can travel comfortably by taking it easy, drinking plenty of water, and avoiding strenuous activities after arrival. The scenic valleys are accessible by sightseeing buses and easy walking paths, making the destination suitable for most travelers, including families and seniors.

Travel to Mount Siguniang from Chengdu
Most travelers begin their Mount Siguniang tour from Chengdu. As the drive from Chengdu to Mount Siguniang takes around five hours, the trip is usually arranged as a 3-day tour.
We recommend visiting Bipenggou Valley on the first day. Located about 120 kilometers north of Mount Siguniang, the valley has a lower altitude, making it an ideal place to acclimatize before heading higher into the mountains. The second day is dedicated to sightseeing in Mount Siguniang, followed by the return journey to Chengdu on the third day.
