Buddha's Hand China -  A Unique Attraction in Qingyuan, Guangzhou

The Buddha's Hand in China is an awe-inspiring, heaven-reaching rock formation that spans tens of meters along a cliff several hundred meters above sea level. Resembling a giant lotus throne, this attraction complements the nearby "Stairway to Heaven."

There are stairs leading to the palm of the Buddha's Hand but no handrails have yet been installed. A safety net is positioned below the stairs. though you should be careful while climbing.

How to Get to Buddha's  Hand Attraction

From Guangzhou, you can take a bullet train from Guangzhou South Railway Station to Qingyuan Railway Station, with less than half an hour on the way. You can also take a direct bus from Guangzhou Bus Station to Qingyuan, which takes about an hour. Once you arrive at Qingyuan Railway Station or Qingyuan Bus Station, take a taxi to Gu Long Gorge's scenic area.

From Shenzhen, you can take a bullet train or a bus to Qingyuan, and then take a taxi to the scenic area.

If you're driving, you can take the Guangzhou - Shenzhen Expressway and exit at the Qingyuan exit, and then follow the signs to Gu Long Gorge.

From the entrance, take a shuttle bus for about half an hour, which will take you midway up the mountain. Then, hike for about 30 minutes before taking the peak elevator once again. You have now arrived at the Buhha's Hand. 

Gulong Gorge Scenic Area

The Buddha's Hand is situated in the Gulong Gorge Scenic Area, which is a beautiful scenic spot known for its breathtaking landscapes, including caves, and waterfalls. It is the perfect travel place for outdoor adventures and nature exploration. Travelers can have rafting, rock climbing, spelunking, and camping there. 

Except for the Buddha's hand, other attractions worth visiting in the scenic area include Gulongxia Glass Grand Canyon and Gulong Gorge Waterfall. 

Gulongxia Glass Grand Canyon:  There is a glass platform built on the cliff on the edge of a mountain range. It is an exciting and thrilling platform with a high-altitude viewing experience, better suited for adventurous tourists.

Gulong Gorge Waterfall: The waterfall features seven levels of falls, each with a different shape, size, and flow. With a total height of 318 meters, it resembles a magnificent silvery dragon leaping over the valley, making for a grand and breathtaking view.
