Tour Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel by your guide who will accompany you for your one-day tour. Your tour guide will contact you for the exact departure time.
In the morning you'll visit the Grand Canal, which ranks alongside the Great Wall of China as the country's greatest engineering achievement and it is the longest man-made waterway in the world. Later on, you'll visit the Pan Gate which is an ancient city gate with land and water entrances.
You will be arranged to have lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, you'll visit the Lingering Garden which is an elaborate succession of small gardens. Lingering in the garden you will marvel at its unique architecture and art. Suzhou is also famous for its silk production. In the factory, you can see how the silk is processed from the silkworm to the final woven cloth. Then be transferred to your hotel.
