Beijing West Railway Station (北京西站), also known as Beijing West Station, is located in Fengtai District, Beijing, China. It is one of the four major railway passenger stations in Beijing and was once one of the largest modern railroad passenger stations in Asia.

Beijing West Railway Station is designed with an "enter above, exit below" model. That is, the ground level and above are for passengers entering the station and for the waiting system, while the underground is for the exiting system. The second basement level has four exits, namely North Exit 1, North Exit 2, South Exit 1, and South Exit 2.

Subway

Beijing West Railway Station is a major hub for rail transit in Beijing, it serves as a transfer station for the Beijing Subway Lines 7 and 9, as well as cross-line trains on the Beijing Subway Fangshan Line. It provides convenient connections for passengers.

The Beijing West Railway Station subway station is located underground within the station complex. At the subway platforms of Beijing West Railway Station, the North entrance/exit is labeled as Exit A, and the South entrance/exit as Exit.

Beijing West Railway Station serves as a starting point for numerous bus routes, offering convenient transportation links throughout the city. Both the North Square and South Square feature bus terminals.

Taxi

Beijing West Railway Station has two taxi dispatch stations located on the east side of the North Exit, one on the second underground floor and the other on the first underground floor. There is also a ground-level taxi dispatch station under the east spiral access road of the North Square. It is recommended to take a taxi from these official dispatch stations.

• The starting fare is 13 RMB (approximately 1.60 Euros/1.8 USD) for the first 3 kilometers.
• From the 4th to 15th kilometers, the fare is 2.30 RMB (approximately 0.29 Euros/0.32 USD) per kilometer.
• Starting from the 15th kilometer, the fare increases to 3.45 RMB (approximately 0.43 Euros/0.48 USD) per kilometer.
• Please note that there's a 20% surcharge for nighttime journeys. 

Airport Shuttle

Beijing West Railway Station has an airport shuttle service that goes directly to Beijing Capital International Airport. The boarding point at Beijing West Station is located in the South Square, in front of the China Railway Express door.

Ticket Collection at Beijing West Railway Station

Beijing West Railway Station offers both automatic ticket machines and ticket hall services for ticket collection. Automatic ticket machines are set up in the east and west ticketing halls of the south and north squares, the second-floor entrance in the north, and the underground ticket return hall.

If you prefer to collect your ticket in the ticket hall, there are 18 automatic ticket machines in the ticket hall of the north square. There are also 22 automatic ticket machines in the ticket halls on both sides of the south square entrance (South 1 and South 2 ticket halls), each equipped with a 30-minute express ticket machine.

We recommend passengers in high-speed train business class enter from the south square, where there's an exclusive entrance for business class.
