Requirements to Enter Hong Kong Form Aboard

Requirements of Flight to Hong Kong Form China's Mainland
Since Feb 6, 2023, all travel restrictions for traveling between Hong Kong and the Mainland are lifted.
- Travelers visit Hong Kong from the Mainland without quarantine, a certificate of negative PCR test, and no vaccination requirements.
- All boundary control points are open without prescribed daily quotas. A custom health declaration is required.
Travel to Hong Kong by Train
In addition to flying directly to Hong Kong, you can also reach by high-speed train from China's Mainland. The high-speed rail links the Chinese mainland and West Kowloon Hong Kong, the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong express rail resumed operation on January 15, 2023, after three years of suspension due to the COVID-10 pandemic.
Trains from Guangzhou and Shenzhen to West Kowloon were the first to run between the mainland and Hong Kong, there are over 77 trains operated daily along the route.
Trains from Beijing, Changsha, Chongqing, Kunming, and other Chinese mainland cities to Hong Kong will resume soon, but dates are unknown.

Do I need PCR tests or rapid antigen tests (RATs) upon arrival and during my stay in Hong Kong?
From overseas: All inbound persons (aged four or above ) are required to conduct a RAT (can be self-administered) within 24 hours, or a negative PCR test was taken within 48 hours prior to boarding the flight. A health declaration form must be completed and submitted prior to departure, the health declaration is valid for 96 hours.
From China's mainland and Macao: PCR tests or rapid antigen tests (RATs) are not inquired, but need to fill out a health declaration form through the China Custom Website prior to departure.
Do I need a visa to go to Hong Kong?
Nationals from 170 countries can visit Hong Kong and do not need a visa to enter Hong Kong with a maximum stay of 90 days. You only need a visa if You plan to stay for more than 90 days – obtain an extension with the Hong Kong SAR Immigration Department.
