What Christmas Events to Expect in Universal Studios Singapore?

Universal Studios Singapore will be decorated with magic seasonal events from November 23. From “Santa’s Circus Extravaganza” to all-live shows and characters meet-and-greets galore, the park’s holiday of spectacular circus theme is filled with snowfalls, photos with favorite movie characters, games, and a super merry parade.

A Universal Christmas ticket includes admissions to the following 9 events:

1. “Santa’s Circus Extravaganza”

As the largest Christmas parade, Led by Ringmaster Santa, an ensemble of 40 performers and yuletide-inspired floats engage in a parade to Santa’s Big Top, where Illumination’s Minions and DreamWorld Animation characters Po, Tigress, Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond, plus other favorites, await. The procession, starting November 30, is accompanied by snowfall nightly.

2. Gingy’s Sweet Meet and Greet

Interact with Gingy the Gingerbread Man from DreamWorks Animation’s movie, Gingy is new to Universal Studios Singapore, “Shrek.” Gingy, lends a hand helping Pastry Pat set up a bakery filled with Christmas treats.

Come to Far Far Away’s Milk Bar Stage. Gingy and Pastry Pat will also pose for photos with guests.

3. Live entertainment

As Santa’s next big stars, watch for Santa’s Starlets belting out Christmas tunes on Mel’s Diner Stage; can also watch Polly The Polar Bear Princess, The Christmas Ribbon Extraordinaire by Ruby, and Festive Flame Lighter of Farrah.

4. Let It Snow with Santa

Accompanied by Santa’s Snowgirls and the silly Snowmen, dance under a magical snowfall.

5. Festive Circus Acts

In “Festive Circus Acts”, Join Santa and his festive Superstars of the Circus and marvel at the Unicyclist Elf’s tricks, the Peppermint Plate Spinner, and the Toy Solder stilt-walker, perform throughout the day.

6. Holiday meet-and-greets

Meet with Minions, Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond from “Trolls,” Po and Tigress from “Kung Fu Panda,” Shrek and Princess Fiona from “Shrek,” and favorite “Sesame Street” characters Elmo, Big Bird, and Grover. Snap a photo with them.

7. Jolly Games Booths

Combined by three carnival challenges, Blockbuster, Rebound, and a special version of basketball. Test your skills at Jolly Games Booths.

8. Merry merchandise

Purchase gifts themed to characters in Universal Studios, eg, Hello Kitty, “Sesame Street,” and other favorites.

9. Santa’s Wonderful Treats

During the celebration, delicious treats are available for purchase.

Is Universal crowded during Christmas?

If you’re planning to spend your Christmas holiday, then it will be very important to figure out how busy the park will be during the holidays. It will affect your travel experience. Maybe it is positive or negative.

Universal Studios Singapore is open every day of the whole of December. We called it Christmas month. Actually, the Christmas events are open from Nov 23. The first week from Nov 23, the week leading up to Christmas Day, Christmas Day, and the week after Christmas Day are the busiest.

2. What to Remember

• 0-3 kids are regarded as infants, free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult;
• Visitors can redeem the Christmas Treat voucher at all restaurants or food carts, excluding Starbucks Coffee and Oasis Spice Cafe.
• Visitors can redeem the retail voucher at all retail stores, excluding Carnival Games.
• Dated ticket holders do not need to make a park reservation in advance.
• Customers, with masks, covering their whole faces, are not allowed to enter the park.
