As the most famous shopping street in Hangzhou, Qinghefang Historical and Cultural Street is well-known for its profound cultural atmosphere, where the architectural buildings of the later Qing (1616 -1911) style line on its sides, including teahouses, drug stores, tea shops, accessories stores, and curios shops. 2. Southern Song Imperial Street

The Southern Song Imperial Street starts at Xihu Avenue in the north ends at Hefang Street in the south, which served as an imperial street for emperors only during the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). The 1,150 -meter (1,258 -yard) long street is lined with over 150 architectural buildings of the late Qing Dynasty (1616 -1911) and the Republic of China (1912 -1949), whose scopes of business include daily necessities such as clothes and shoes, gold and silver wares, silk products and medicines as well as recreation and entertainment.

Starting at Qingchun Road in the south and ending at Tiyuchang Road in the north, the 1,650-meter (1,804 -yard) long Wulin Road is a modern comprehensive commercial road with shopping, gourmet, business, fitness, sightseeing, and recreation perfectly combined as one, and it specializes in selling seasonal fashionable suit-dresses. A number of the famous stores are distributed on the road, including Hangzhou Mansion, Yintai Department Store, and Hangzhou Department Store, and the suit-dresses feature fashionable, unique and tasty.
