Visit the jaw-dropping site of Stone Forest, about 2 hours by car from Kunming city. The various shapes of karst landscape was formed due to millions of years' movement of Earth. The Stone Forest area is the home of the Sani people, their folk customs have become one spectacular scene, the colorful embroidery and minority dances combine with the natural sceneries, which will surely leave you a deep impression.

Enjoy some morning free time in Kunming. Fly to Dali and check-in upon arrival.

We will go to Shaxi Ancient Town which is listed by the World Monuments Fund as one of the world's 100 most endangered sites. Shaxi town was built on the remains of an ancient market town and was once an active trade stop on the Southern Silk Road that connected southwest China's hinterland with Southeast Asia and on to Europe.

We will feel up the peaceful atmosphere at Dali Ancient Town.

In the morning, we will drive for 4 hours to Lijiang. Check-in upon arrival and have simple lunch.

Visit the Bai people's hometown at Xizhou Village and visit Lijiang Ancient Town.

The sublime Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is a highlight to any Yunnan tour. Today our local tour guide will take you to this wonderful site and you will definitely make a day of it.

After lunch, we will visit a humble Naxi Village. It is significant to the Naxi as the birthplace of "Tusi" (the Chinese word means chieftain of a clan) of the Mu clan.

The drive to Shangri-La is a scenic journey. On the way, we will stop to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Check-in upon arrival in Shangri-La.

Shangri-La is an amazing destination for your China holiday. Today we will visit Pudacuo National Park. Also, a local Tibetan family will give you a warm welcome for a short visit.

Also, visit the largest Tibetan Buddhist lamasery in Yunnan Province. Occupying an area of 33.3 hectares, Songzanlin was built in the style of Potala Palace in Lhasa and represents the Tibetan culture, housing Buddhist statues, and many precious cultural treasures.

Wake up early to get a view of the sunrise of Guangmingding which is regarded as the best place to see the sunrise and take photos. Ever wonder what life is like if living in Huangshan?

After breakfast in the hotel, walk to Lion Peak to see the Dawn Pavilion, Stone Monkey Watching the Sea, and all shapes of pines along the route. You can also climb up to Beginning-to-Believe Peak and overlook the Mushroom Pavilion. Your Yellow Mountains experience will finish and take the Yungu Cable Car down to the mountain foot.

Have lunch and take your luggage and then take a high-speed train to Shanghai
