Hong Kong and Shenzhen, next to each other, have some ways of crossing the border. The fastest method to travel between these two cities is by high-speed train, which makes the journey only 14m minimum.

There are two major railway stations in Shenzhen: Shenzhen North Station and Futian Station, and the only high-speed train station in Hong Kong: Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.

Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen by High-Speed Train

If you come to Hong Kong via flight and want to go to Shenzhen by fast train, there are three ways to go to the West Kowloon Railway Station from the airport.

• Take the subway(MTR) Airport Express Line to Kowloon Station, then walk to West Kowloon Station.
• Take the Airport Express to Kowloon Station, walk to West Kowloon Railway Station, and take the bullet train to Shenzhen.
• Take a taxi/car directly from the airport to West Kowloon Railway Station.

Hong Kong to Shenzhen by Bus

Besides, some cross-border buses are serving between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The tour costs about 30m to 1h, depending on how fast you get through the border and which bus terminal you select. The single-way ticket fare is around US$6(CNY40)-US$22(CNY150).

Hong Kong to Shenzhen by Car

Traveling by car/taxi is also possible but relatively expensive. The price is around US$150(CNY1,000) to US$220(CNY1,500) for your reference.
