The Hangzhou Metro operates from as early as 5:54 am until the last train at 0:08 am, with all stations offering services between 6:30 am and 10:30 pm.

Popular Destinations
- West Lake: Take Line 1 and get off at Longxiangqiao Station. Walk westward or northward around 400 m (0.2 mi) to reach the West Lake core scenic spot.
- Qinghefang Pedestrian Street: You can take Line 1 and get off at Dingan Road Stop. Walk southward for approximately 10 minutes to reach the famous street.
- The Former Residence of Hu Xueyan: Take Line 5 and get off at Jiangcheng Station. Walk southwest for around 600 m (0.3 mi).
- Xiaoshan International Airport: There 3 lines connecting this station — Line 1, Line 7 and Line 19.
- Hangzhou Railway Station: Two lines connect this station — Line 1 and Line 5.
- Hangzhou East Railway Station: There are two lines connecting this station as well — Line 1 and Line 4.
Hangzhou Metro Tickets and Fare
Hangzhou Metro offers several types of tickets, including single-journey tickets, stored-value cards, multiple-ride tickets, exit tickets, commemorative tickets, test tickets, special access tickets, and employee tickets.
Hangzhou Metro fares are calculated based on the distance traveled. The starting fare is 2 yuan for a 4-kilometer ride. For distances between 4 and 12 kilometers, you can travel an additional 4 kilometers with each 1 yuan. For distances between 12 and 24 kilometers, you can travel an additional 6 kilometers with each 1 yuan. For distances exceeding 24 kilometers, you can travel an additional 8 kilometers with each 1 yuan. The longest single journey on the Hangzhou Metro is 96.7 kilometers, from Jiu Zho Jie station on Line 16 to Xinwan Road station on Line 8.
