Best Time to Visit Zhangjiajie

The best time to visit Zhangjiajie is generally regarded as late Autumn- the end of October, and throughout the month of November. During this season the weather is cool and mild, without the heavy rains, sun, and heat of spring and summer.

The weather is also not bitter cold like it is in the winter. Late autumn is also the low-tourist season, so prices are cheaper and there are relatively few tourists in the park.
